Extremely soothing, this hydrosol is derived from Roman Chamomile (Chamaelum Nobile), a flourishing plant native to France, known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
This hydrosol is particularly effective for soothing young and old alike, as a drink diluted in water. In addition, Roman chamomile hydrosol is a must for all irritations (digestive, cutaneous, ocular).
In dermatology, Roman chamomile hydrosol is an excellent choice for soothing itching and inflammation associated with eczema and psoriasis. Its calming properties are also beneficial for promoting restful sleep and reducing stress and anxiety, as a drink or vapour.

An edible plant with recognized medicinal and cosmetic virtues, Roman chamomile is a 10-30 cm tall perennial of the Asteraceae family. Rare in France, Roman chamomile is grown in Anjou in its double variety. Its name comes from the Greek, referring to the fact that chamomile grows close to the ground (chamos) and that the fragrance of its barely-opened flowers is reminiscent of apples (melos).
