Lemon Verbena (Lippia Citriodora), also known as Scented Verbena, is a small aromatic shrub whose leaves are prized for their distinctive fragrance. Native to the Mediterranean basin, it has been cultivated for its aromatic qualities for centuries.
At Essenciagua, we carefully distill the fresh leaves of this plant, organically grown in the Tarn region of Occitania. This artisanal process guarantees an essential oil of great purity.

Lemon verbena, also known as scented verbena, is a small shrub belonging to the Verbenaceae family. This aromatic plant is a perennial native to Latin America.
Used in Peru, lemon verbena is an ingredient in the national soft drink, Inca Kola. Beyond its culinary uses, Lemon Verbena is a plant recommended for its effects on the nervous and emotional spheres. It is very useful in the treatment of depression, anxiety and stress, as well as related gastrointestinal disorders.
Lemon Verbena is also a “digestive” plant, used to support digestion, particularly in cases of overeating.
To guarantee the quality of our products, we use Lemon Verbena grown and harvested in France, in the Tarn region to be precise. Our essential oil is rich in geranial and neral, two terpenes known for their anti-inflammatory, sedative and antiseptic effects. Lemon Verbena Hydrosol and Essential Oil are also excellent allies for your sleep and mental well-being.
