Frankincense, also known as Olibanum, is an aromatic oleoresin gum. This substance is produced from the resin of trees of the Boswellia genus belonging to the Burseraceae family. The resin is extracted from the bark of the tree. White in color when extracted, it takes on orange-yellow hues when dried.

1st purchase of this oil which I use, for the moment, for meditation, but I don't have enough hindsight to comment on it. In any case, the fragrance is more pleasant than the frankincense oil I tested at a workshop.
