Grown in the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean periphery, this lavender thrives between 800 and 1800 meters altitude, where it develops an exquisite fragrance and remarkable therapeutic properties.
This essential oil is renowned for its soothing properties, particularly against itching, and its effectiveness in repelling lice and insects. Its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties make it an ideal ally in the treatment of minor burns, sunburn and insect bites, rapidly relieving pain and inflammation while preventing infection.
Lavande Fine des Causses Essential Oil is also effective against skin problems such as acne, pimples and scars, thanks to its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It promotes skin regeneration and can be used to improve the appearance of scars, while soothing skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
When diffused or applied topically (diluted), this essential oil promotes restful sleep and helps reduce stress and anxiety, promoting a more relaxed, serene state of mind. It is also recognized for its relaxing and antispasmodic properties, useful in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome and other digestive disorders.

Native to the Mediterranean region, this sub-shrub of the Lamiaceae family, 30 to 60 cm tall, with violet flowers, thrives on hillsides and mountains between 800 and 1800 meters altitude. Wild or cultivated, Lavender is a precious jewel in our flora, as well as an essential ingredient in perfumery, cosmetics and aromatherapy.
Its purifying properties were already known to the Romans, who added Lavender to their baths and burned it in patients’ rooms to purify the air. Its many uses and innocuousness explain its presence in the family pharmacy.
Lavender contains monoterpenes, namely linalool and linalyl acetate. While the former is known for its fragrant properties, the latter is known for its soothing effects.
