🌹The Damask rose is a bush that looks a little like the wild rosehip, but with abundant, full, powerfully aromatic pink flowers. Its cultivation follows that of the ancient silk routes from Syria, Iran, Turkey,Bulgaria and Morocco on sandy or rocky soils. Essenciagua’s selection comes from the highest, driest plateaus in the Middle East, at an altitude of 3,000 m.

Queen of flowers, the rose is the very embodiment of perfection and beauty. Its fragrance is complete, subtle and harmonious. Since ancient times, the Damask rose has been renowned for its bewitching, sensorial fragrance.

✳️L The extremely low yield of essential oil from this flower makes it one of the rarest and most precious of natural products. It takes up to 10 tons of hand-picked petals to obtain one pure liter of this “nectar”. As a result, this oil is reserved for very noble uses, in a broad beauty register, potentially in synergies with other essential oils, emotional blends or rare perfumes.
