Discover our 100% Organic and Handcrafted Douglas Fir Hydrolat
Essenciagua Douglas Hydrosol, distilled with expert craftsmanship, is a treasure trove of benefits for health and well-being. Derived from Pseudotsuga, a small tree 10 to 15 meters tall, this hydrosol is renowned for its fungicidal and purifying properties.
Over 80% of Douglas Pine hydrosol is monoterpenol, making it a good immunity stimulant, anti-infectious and antifungal.
As a drink, Douglas hydrosol is effective for boosting the immune system, as a cure at the start of winter. Its anti-infectious properties can also be useful as a vapour.
Applied topically, its anti-fungal properties make Douglas fir hydrosol an ally for people prone to athlete’s foot or skin mycosis.
Douglas Hydrosol will seduce you with its “odor-eating” effect. It is ideal for diffusing in a room to eliminate unpleasant odors and create a forest atmosphere.

The Plant Douglas fir
Plant part: Needle Branch
Origin: France
A small tree 10 to 15 m tall, with a tortuous silhouette and evergreen leaves, Douglas fir is a conifer in the Pinaceae family. It is found mainly in New Caledonia, Madagascar and Australia. Its bark, made up of superimposed layers that crumble easily, is the source of its nickname “the skin tree”.
