Essenciagua’s Juniper Hydrosolate, certified organic, is a natural product with multiple benefits. Native to Europe, juniper Juniperus communis is a thorny shrub found at altitudes of up to 2,500 meters. Its berries, known since the 16th century as a universal remedy, are used for their diuretic and depurative virtues.

Juniper hydrosol has diuretic properties and stimulates renal function. This hydrosol is therefore a real ally in the fight against edema, cellulite and water retention. It is also useful for relieving gout and rheumatism.

On the cosmetic front, Juniper Hydrosol can be used as a mattifying lotion for oily skin, and to care for greasy hair. It can be applied to the skin or massaged into the scalp to purify, rebalance and moisturize.

Exactly what I was looking for! I've been suffering from heavy legs for 2 years now as soon as summer arrives and nothing helps. I've heard of hydrolats in the treatment of this problem. And I recommend it. Personally, I use it as a drink throughout the day. One tablespoon of peppermint, evergreen cypress and juniper hydrosol to a liter of water. You'll be running like a gazelle.

The Plant Quercy juniper

Quercy juniper
Latin Name: Juniperus Communis

Plant part: Berry Branch

Origin: France

Native to Europe, Juniper is a conifer of the Cupressaceae family. This snarling bush-like plant can be found at altitudes of up to 2,500 m. Juniper develops berries in its second year of growth. Their characteristic flavor has given the plant its clever name, derived from the Celtic word juneprus meaning pungent. In the 16th century, Juniper berries were considered a panacea, a universal antidote. It was said that those who ate a juniper berry every day were spared from disease.
Today, Juniper berries are used for their diuretic and aperitive virtues, in addition to their nutritional qualities. The aroma given off by the Essential Oil obtained by distillation of the berries and young twigs is sweet, woody and slightly fruity. The essential oil is composed mainly of mono and sesquiterpenes, and can be enjoyed by the skin or in the bath to restore a feeling of lightness.

When I want to fight cellulite

When I want to fight cellulite

My story We’ve just planned a trip to Mayotte (land of ylang-ylang), and now I’m starting to stress: I’m not going to wear shorts and a bathing suit with legs like that! Lack of exercise has let it reappear, the enemy of (almost) all of us, that damned cellulite… So I’m going back to the little routine I set up a few years ago, when I still took the time to do it, to try and limit that “orange peel” skin. A bit of sport (I’ve now taken up the footbike, a kind of scooter with big wheels, less...
