Découvrez notre Common Epicea Essential Oil 100% Organic and Handcrafted

The Common Spruce (Picea Communis) is a majestic conifer, emblematic of Europe’s vast forests. Recognized for its imposing stature and evergreen foliage, it is traditionally associated with the strength and vitality of winter landscapes. At Essenciagua, we carefully distill the fresh twigs of this tree, which is certified organic and sourced from the Occitanie region, particularly Lozère. Its fragrance, a beautiful resinous scent, offers an olfactory signature that elegantly oscillates between the enveloping sweetness of fir and the invigorating energy of pine. This woody essence is an invitation to a sensory journey into the heart of the forest, creating an atmosphere conducive to well-being and the rejuvenation of the spirit.

The Norway spruce is a conifer of the Abies family, reaching heights of around fifty meters, and is characterized by its resistance to cold. It grows in Northern and Central Europe, mainly at high altitudes (800-2000m). Traditionally used as a Christmas tree, it is cultivated in many places, on a wide variety of soils, for forestry purposes.

Its twigs are also very useful and valuable for their anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Norway spruce is particularly well-suited for use as a vapour, especially during periods of winter sickness.
