Two forms obtained:
👉🏻 The hydrosol has a scent that is very faithful to the plant when you crush it. We find, in this form dispersed in the water of the plant, #paracymene and #terpineol, two typically anti-inflammatory molecules.
👉🏻 Essential oil, so rare that it is forgotten in works, reveals a whole range of anti-inflammatories. Like the very present #carene which really hardens the scent of the oil, a scent that is nevertheless sought after in perfumery. In aroma, it will then be chosen first for its properties before the pleasure in olfaction.
🌿 Very versatile in aromatherapy, essential oil is used internally to relieve rheumatism, inflammation and allergic symptoms. Externally, possibly as a massage, targeted on the joints, alone or in synergy, for example with Roman chamomile.
