The plant

Oregano
Latin: Origanum Vulgare

Plant part: Flowery

Origin: France

Origan or common oregano (Origanum vulgare) is a kind of herbaceous plants, perennial of the lamiaceae family, also named, among others, wild marjolaine or perennial marjolaine. The oregano is sometimes confused with the Marjolaine (Origanum Majorana) or "Origan des Jardins", of which it shares several characteristics, in particular its medicinal and aromatic virtues. Oregano aromatic hydrosol will be particularly indicated as winter conditions are approaching, or after a slightly heavy meal.
