Essenciagua has chosen to work for years with a cooperative on the arid high plateaus of the Middle East along the ancient Silk Roads. It values a traditional harvest of Damask roses in a unique approach, both certified organic and social.
At the height of the season, between May and June, the harvesters rise at dawn and invest in the flowered expanses. 🌹The flower indeed needs to be harvested between 5am and 9am before the heat makes its delicate essence disappear in a daily cycle of the flower. It is then distilled with modern and efficient stainless steel stills within 24 hours to retain all the freshness of its scent.
